Plenary 1: Leadership for Future
10:30AM to 11:30AM

Session Theme: The world has quite successfully survived, then revived and now thrived by finding opportunities in the recent disruptions. With it came a sense of urgency to ideate, improvise and innovate, to nurture new economic models & partnerships to ‘reimagine the world’. This transformation was driven by technology led innovations transcending space & time, leading to cross fertilization of knowledge & ideas at a never-before pace.

Global leaders believe that business case for resilient net zero economies is crystal clear and that leadership with a purpose is what will drive future business growth. Leadership vision will also focus on sustainability and gender diversity as the precept to ‘reimagine the future’.

The year 2022 is also being considered as a ‘Year of Smart Factories’, wherein factories use advanced technologies to analyze data, drive automated processes, and learn as it goes. Sustainability of these tech- driven manufacturing value chains lies at the center of this discussion when industry thought leaders are creating a future roadmap to transform manufacturing.

Plenary 3: Food for All: From Farm to Fork
12:15PM to 01:15PM

Session Theme: It aims to bring together global leaders from food and agricultural value chain, to evolve a viable global framework for an efficient and inclusive ‘farm to fork’ delivery. This session will showcase global best practices & learnings on nutrition management, farming practices, supply chain and sustainability in the agriculture ecosystem. Participation of women in agriculture could be another aspect of deliberation in terms of improving farm to fork productivity.

This thought comes in the backdrop of estimates that by 2050 there will be nearly 10 billion people on Earth for whom we will need to produce 70% more food. 8 percent of the world’s population (or 650 million) will be undernourished by 2030 itself. The challenge gets accentuated by agriculture’s extreme vulnerability to climate change, the specter of food inflation that will be staring at us putting pressure on raw material supplies going forward and the acute water resource crunch. The situation would require closing three gaps i.e., food nutrition gap, land availability gap and sustainability gap.

The Session aims to bring together Policy Makers and Agricultural sector community globally, to evolve the roadmap for a viable global framework to support ‘farm to fork’. This session will showcase global best practices, and the salutary effect of engagement of women in the agriculture value chain.

The session will be experiential in nature and global leaders are expected to share their own success stories and learnings (“How we did it”).

Diversity and inclusion have also been known to have positive impact towards a sustainable environment.

Participation of women in decision-making, encouraging women entrepreneurship are important aspects of future financing, as positive impact of gender diversity is now proven. Plenary 6: Sustainable Travel & Tourism
04:00PM to 05:00PM

Session Theme: Even as people mobility is growing at an increasing pace, the tourism and travel sector is changing gears and concentrating on future economic, social, and environmental consequences. After the pandemic, "revenge tourism & travel" emphasises the urgent need to create a sustainable travel and tourism ecology. This people-to-people connectedness would be viable if a delicate balance could be struck between the requirements of the visitor, the environment, and the host communities involved. The tourism and travel business would be the first to suffer from negative environmental effects if a sustainable action is not taken on priority.

Infrastructure for travel and tourism, consumables, solid waste management, and water resource management are a few of the sectors that can benefit from resource recycling and reuse. The direct and indirect reliance on fossil fuels should be reduced at the same time, through carbon neutrality in operations and green supply chains.

This session provides a chance to reimagine the future of Sustainable Travel & Tourism. It will bring together global thought leaders who would share their vision and global best practices on sustainable travel and tourism and while maximizing value. The session would attempt to deliberate on leadership vision on adaptable and sustainable tourism. Impact of greater participation of women in Tourism sector would be an interesting aspect of discussion. Plenary 7: Future Ready Supply Chains
05:00PM to 06:00PM

Session Theme: Global commerce has always been a topic of much discussion in newsrooms and boardrooms, but the past two years have pushed the subject to the top of the agenda, as disruptions have exposed the vulnerabilities of today’s supply chains. On the other hand, these disruptions have also given a once-in-a-generation opportunity to future-proof the supply chains, by addressing the challenges that have made them a widespread topic of conversation and increasingly demanding customer expectations. At the same time, supply chains need to play in the transition to an environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive economy. New ideas integrating innovative technologies in packaging, transportation, distribution, documentation will result in overall efficiency from place of origin to last-mile connectivity. Instant delivery, remote access through drones and express supply chain through air, would make supply chains future ready.

This session at LEADS 2022, aims to reflect upon how supply chains can be more reliable, adaptable, sustainable, less complex and hence nimble. How digitization is radically transforming supply chains with a huge impact on product manufacturing and delivery. This session will be experiential in nature as these global leaders are expected to share their own success stories and learnings (“How we did it”).

Plenary 8: Culture of Innovation
11:00AM to 12:00PM

Session Theme: The world has quite successfully survived, then revived and now thrived by finding opportunities in the recent disruptions. With it came a sense of urgency to ideate, improvise and innovate, to nurture new economic models. Innovations around the world are also enhancing business excellence while making products or services sustainable. Long-term social and environmental sustainability aspects are becoming intrinsic in the concept, design, production, and marketing, of any innovative offering. Surveys also show that presence of women in workplace increases both sustainability and innovation quotient of the organization.

Digitization and Tech led Innovations are taking centre stage to meet the needs of present generation, while visualising the aspirations of future ones. At the same time, innovation is becoming a culture in organisations striving for market leadership. An innovation eco-system needs to cut across all functions of an organisation be it manufacturing or marketing or even Finance. Innovation in progressive organisations, also cuts across business sectors beyond the realm of technology. Social impact innovations is yet another area where countries like India are leading the way.

This session would bring leading stakeholders and flagbearers of innovation from diverse domains, to share global best practices on innovation that can positively impact the economic and social landscape. The session will be experiential in nature as speakers are expected to share their own success stories (“How we did it”).

12:00PM to 01:00PM

The present-day economies are characterized by the advances in technology, transformation in the way individuals and society in general lives, works and interacts. Global and local disruptions on the other hand, entail guiding principles, laws and policies that are reviewed with an open mind and perhaps more frequently. Customized response to the pandemic, by individual economies is a case in point.

At the same time our policy makers ought to ensure that policies are inclusive in nature with greater participation of women in economy and respect for differently abled, special genders and the marginalized. There is also an increasing need for any future policy making process to address aspects of environment sustainability.

In this backdrop, excellence in governance processes take center stage for our law makers to remain adaptable to change and innovation driven expectations of citizens.

Plenary 10: Accessible Healthcare for All
01:00PM to 02:00PM

Session Theme: The World Health Organisation (WHO) defines a Sustainable Healthcare System as a system that improves, maintains, or restores health, while minimizing negative impacts on the environment and leveraging opportunities to restore and improve it, to the benefit of the health and well-being of current and future generations.

In this backdrop, it is important to provide healthcare access for all individuals by addressing the gaps, highlighting significant barriers and by collectively evolving ways to innovate for achieving this objective.

Healthcare ecosystem across the world is not equally accessible and / or affordable for all. The entire healthcare value chain including hospitals, pharma companies, medical equip industry, manpower, diagnostic centres, and other stakeholders need to work closely in tandem to ensure seamless delivery on ground.

The session will revolve around how various stakeholders can work in an integrated manner to ensure access to healthcare services for all. The global thought leaders from across the healthcare value chain will deliberate on best practices and strategic partnerships with an aim to ensure an efficient healthcare delivery experience.
